Keep the recording device
FoxStoria does not upload the recorded audio. It stays on this device unless you share it yourself. Play it back on the same phone or tablet and child profile.
A recording does not need a performance
Use the voice your child knows. You do not need character voices, background music, or a perfect first take. A clear recording is more useful than a polished one.
FoxStoria records page by page, so a cough or interruption does not mean starting the whole book again. Listen to a page and record it again if you want to.
Playback combines your recording with the story’s available music and sound effects. Check the finished story once before handing over the device.

Do I need to record the whole story at once?
No. Record each page separately. You can listen back and redo a page without recording the whole story again.
Are my voice recordings uploaded?
FoxStoria keeps the recorded audio on the device that made it. It does not upload the audio or create a cloud copy. Some recording metadata, such as the book it belongs to, is synced; the audio itself stays local.
Will the recording appear on another phone?
The audio stays on the original device, so do not expect it to appear on another phone through account sync. Keep that device available for playback.
